The Cleasby's Hair Salon Alton Rec Soccer Player of the Week for September 12 goes to AYDEN BERNIER
Coach Casale says
"Ayden did an amazing job in goal. This is his first time playing on a 11v11 sized field / goal. He had 5 amazing stops that should all have been goals including a diving save from a PK. His team went onto win 5-2 and without his amazing goalie work they could have ended in a tie or loss."
Congratulations Ayden! You will receive an exclusive player of the week t-shirt from your coach!
The Cleasby's Hair Salon Barnstead Rec Soccer Player of the Week for September 12 goes to CONNOR MCCAUSLAND
Coach Lapolla says
"Connor has proved himself to be a great team player, showing just as much enthusiasm for his teammates' plays as he does for his own! I am so proud of his "cheerleading" from the sidelines when he isn't on the field and his upbeat spirit no matter what. I am lucky to coach a kid like Connor!"
Congratulations Connor! You will receive an exclusive player of the week t-shirt from your coach!
Alton, NH - As we all transition into the reopening of various stores, restaurants and even sports, the latest to be added to the list of approved programs is summer camps. We receive request daily for update information on our summer camp programs and of course need to wait for direction from the State of NH. As of last week, that direction came in order to help provide some guidance for staff as well as some advanced notice for parents. So what does this mean for our Revolution United soccer camp?
Under the guidelines provided by the State of New Hampshire, the following important details are available for Revolution United soccer camp:
What are the next steps?

REVS 3V3 NATIONAL TEAM: From L-R: Makenzy Holden, Jordan Whittier, Reilly Gray, Autumn Sheets, Makayla Richard, Gabby Clark
Alton, NH - As the remote learning school season starts winding down, seniors are not practicing their graduation walk, but are thinking about what they will wear while sitting in their cars waiting to be called up as they graduate Friday May 29 from Prospect Mtn High School. Prospect will still give the graduates a ceremony, one that will look much different than in years past; in fact, much difference than ever.
While many seniors are left with some sadness, the loss of prom, senior trip, cookouts and yearbook signings, they have also made so many memories with their friends and classmates. While some of these things may have been taken away this year, nobody can ever take away the championships won, the songs sung, the winter carnival days, the bus rides home from Berlin, or the cold games where you need to remind yourself why you still play soccer. These will always be a part of you and a part of growing up.
Two of our seniors were on the 3v3 National team this year participating in New Hampshire & Massachusetts, futsal in Maine and were supposed to head to Orlando, Florida in April. This was just one of the cancellations thanks to COVID-19. Both seniors, Reily Gray and Gabby Clark always showed true excitement for this team and the trip that was upcoming. Making many memories along the way, some hard practices, some fun times, some nicknames for coaches and of course lots of laughs. They were deserving of the trip to Florida not only based on their skill, but for their leadership, dedication, encouragement and drive.
With that, we would like to say Congratulations to our seniors from our 3v3 team. Reily and Gabby, you will both do amazing things in life and you will be missed at the Revs!
Alton, NH - Revolution United is pleased to announce Gabby Clark will continue her education and soccer career at NHTI in Concord, NH. She will be studying Children's Physiology in the Liberal Arts Program.
"I'm so excited to continue playing soccer with Coach Heidi Crocket and joining their team," Clark said. "One thing I am most looking forward to is the appreciation, respect and acceptance from the coach and the teammates. This is something I have had while with the Revs," she continued.
"Gabby has always been a big part of our Revs family. I have truly enjoyed watching her grow as not only an athlete but as a young adult on and off the field. Her dedication to her Revs team and commitment to be a positive role model during games is something many young players have been able to look up to for years," said Cory Halvorsen, Director of Coaching for Revolution United.
"One thing I have learned from playing with the Revs is that I won't always play the position I want to play and I learned to not do what I think is best for me, but what is best for the dynamic of the team," she said continued, "Upcoming players; be you and be confident and don't let change scare you. Go out of your comfort zone because that is where you will thrive and shine."
Gabby has held many roles within the Revolution United organization and participated in many teams over the years both on the girls and boys side. This season, the Revs were going to hold our first ever "senior games" to honor the seniors for their accomplishments over the years. Unfortunately, as of today the spring competitive season has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Our hope is that Gabby, along with the rest of the seniors will be able to get their last season on the pitch with their Revs family.
Congrats Gabby on your next steps!
Dear Revolution United families,
This message comes to you with mixed emotions as I am sure we have all experienced over the last several weeks. Many of us over the last few weekends have been enjoying the beautiful weather, sunny skies and great soccer temperatures hoping that we would be on the soccer field. Many parents have reached out to us directly with encouragement as we all did what was needed behind the scenes to make sure if we had a season that we were ready to move quickly.
Unfortunately as of this positing, we have received official word that the NH Soccer League and the NH Soccer Association have made the difficult decision to cancel the spring 2020 competitive soccer season. This is the first time in the history of Revolution United that a spring soccer season has been cancelled and know that it hurts us as we are all parents of players as well. For some, this would have been their first season playing competitive soccer and for others, this was officially their last season of playing for the Revs organization as they will officially "age out" of these programs. No matter which way you look at it. it is very disappointing.
As families, we have all gone through quite a bit in the last several weeks and still do not have a clear picture on what the "new normal" will be and what that will look like. We know that our very first goal will always be to keep our families safe so we can see you all back on the fields as soon as possible. We have players within our club that are current seniors at high school, and missing their important memory making events. We have 8th graders that aren't getting that chance to officially "step up" to enter the high school like many before them. Everyone has gone through changes, and I believe everyone wants to push forward and see the Revs families back together again.
Over the next few weeks, we will be putting out information on refunds and credits for the spring 2020 season and how that will all work. In the meantime, there is a lot of information you can find here to answer questions you may have (SPRING FAQ's) We ask that you please hold off from emailing or calling during this time as we assure you all of our planning that has gone into this will ensure all families are accounted for with their registrations, and we want to make sure that nobody is missed.
Lastly, to our volunteer coaches, administrators, equipment and field directors, I want to thank you all for once again stepping up to make sure we were ready and on standby to try and get this season to go forward. Please know, there was still a lot of work behind the scenes going on from coaches joining zoom calls, to registrations and player cards being at the ready, and rosters being finalized. This is all done 100% by our great volunteers.
Just like many other clubs, we always have expenses going into a season. This year, we purchased a new set of goals, nets, and field paint just to get prepared for our continued growth and to continuing investing in our club and players. Some have reached out to express their interest in making a donation to the club. While it is certainly appreciated please understand that we want to make sure your family is taken care of first. We have put ourselves in a position where we will continue to be fair with our registration fees, be able to create new opportunities with our partnerships, and continue our growth for success for our players on and off the field for many years to come.
I hope you all remain safe and healthy and truly hope we will see you all on the fields again very soon.
Director of Coaching, Soccer
ALTON N.H. Revolution United FC is proud to announce that 5 year player Hannah Racine from Alton, NH will be taking the pitch for Coach Carly Gettler and the Nor'Easters at the University of New England in the fall of 2020!
“I’m excited to continue my soccer career with Coach Gettler and can’t wait to meet my new teammates next year - Hannah Racine
Hannah worked tirelessly at the end of her fall season attending winter showcases, having tactical sessions after high school basketball practice, spending hours on the ball at home, writing letters to college coaches, all the while playing on multiple indoor teams. Hannah put in the work and earned her spot on the UNE women’s soccer team. The entire Revolution United coaching staff is proud of Hannah and wish her the very best in her future endeavors.
"Hannah is well balanced player, a natural leader and I expect her to continue her development under Coach Gettler as an impact player that will immediately compete for starting spot." - Shane Flood, Director of Player Development - RUFC
“Hannah is an experienced player with great attributes who will contribute right away to the Nor’easters. Hannah has proven that hard work and commitment to the game will reward the players and people who compete and improve themselves on a daily basis." - Cory Halvorsen, Director of Coaching - RUFC
A message to the younger RUFC players from Hannah:
"When you hear them say that you’re not good enough or that you’ll never play in college - KEEP playing, KEEP working - be the next girl who refuses to hang up her cleats.
Hannah will be playing for the RUFC U19 Girls team in the New Hampshire soccer league this spring as well as returning to the Granite State Games along side many other RUFC soccer athletes.
COVID-19 and Spring Soccer Update:
Revolution United members, as we previously announced in an effort to work with our governing bodies of US Soccer, US Youth Soccer and NH Soccer Association, our postponement of the season would last until the beginning of May, along with the date set forth by the Governor of NH.
In coordination with NH Soccer Association, we want to be sure the all of the information that is put out is accurate and timely. Today, NH Soccer Association announced the continuation of their suspension of all affiliated sanctioned soccer activities statewide until May 31. After this date, a season of games will still take place with playoffs or a possible solution without playoffs in order to get the games played and players back on the field.
Yesterday we saw the cancellation of the Memorial Day Tournaments across the state as well. It is still the goal of NH Soccer Association and Revolution United to have participation this season in games and training formats.
That said, Revolution United will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the State of NH and Governors recommendations. Should this mean order on groups and large gatherings is opened up prior to the May 31 date, Revolution United will still have programs and trainings available that do not fall under the NH Soccer Association "sanctioned events".
The only current cancellation of Revolution United events currently is the Mini Revs spring season. All contacts from Mini Revs have been contacted about this.
Within the next 24 hours, participants for the Spring 2020 season will receive an email with more details and expectations on new start dates, practice starts, uniform answers and more.
We would like to extend our thanks to the many people that are working behind the scenes at the state level to try and make sure the players get a season in this year. I know most of us are ready to get back to normal, as safely as possible. The safety of the players, coaches, volunteers and families remains the top priority.
Revolution United will also be putting out additional information on our annual 3v3 Tournament, United Together Never Alone Cup which will be held in July again this year.
Thank you for continuing to stay positive and we are looking forward to getting this season started soon!
First and foremost, we hope you are all doing well and staying safe during this time!
After serious consideration, and with great sadness, we are announcing the cancellation our spring 2020 Mini Revs session. This decision was not made lightly as this will be the first time we have ever had to cancel a session for Mini Revs since the beginning.. We had hoped we might be able to bring a bright spot to the season that has already been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Still, we believe this is the right decision for all players, families and for our community.
Please know, this currently is only affecting the Mini Revs session as that is scheduled by the club, and not the spring competitive season or any other possible events or camps that may be upcoming.
Because of this cancellation, parents are asked to follow the link below where you will need to enter your name, your players name, and choose your credit method. There are 3 options for those who have asked for it: Forward your current registration to the fall 2020 session, leave as a credit on your Revs account for future sessions or camps, or receive a fund of your session amount. You may choose any of those 3 methods which will be processed within 72 hours.
Parents, please follow this link here https://forms.gle/qJa389A7FRcn8Rf79 for details on your refund for the session and for more information.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email email@example.com
We will certainly miss our Minis this session and hope to see you all in the fall for our popular Trick or Treat season!
