The cold and rain will not stop the Revolution United U20 girls. As this team and Head Coach Shane Flood headed into Memorial Day Weekend, they didn't take the weekend off but instead entered into the 28th Annual Amherst Soccer Club Memorial Day tournament. This tournament is one of many taking place this weekend but one that sees hundreds of teams across multiple states, and from multiple clubs to get some great competition.

The U20 Girls team played some impressive soccer through the cold and rain this weekend and have remained undefeated earning a spot in the finals against an impressive Central Maine United team. Central Maine represents 12 varsity programs in the Central Maine Region.

"They're an impressive team with an unbelievable amount of speed," said Coach Flood of the opposing CMU team. "We will definitely have our hands full."

Revolution and Central Maine met up on day one of the tournament with Revs coming out on top with a goal in the last few minutes of the game. Monday's final should expect much of the same play.

Revolution United and Central Maine United will compete in the final for the Amherst Memorial Day Tournament at 1:00pm at Souhegan High School.

Coming back after the COVID-19 break from last spring, Coach Jayme Kennedy's team has been ready to get on the field together and based on this season's results, they haven't missed a beat.

"The kids have come ready to play every day. They're hungry and eager to put in the effort it takes to win games," said the Head Coach.

After much of the state took last spring season off, nobody knew when they next time teams would be back on the fields again. Having gone through an adjusted school soccer schedule to keep travel and contact to a minimum, some teams went back to their indoor seasons. However, like many would express, the spring soccer season was still missed by coaches, players and fans. The U14 Revs team has come back strong with a current record of 4 Wins, 1 Tie and 0 losses.

"Starting the season 4-0-1 in a tough division is a great way to start any season. Our offense has put together some great opportunities in the first four games leading to 15 goals. I've been very happy with our defensive play and our goalies have been able to handle the task of seeing some tough shots from our opponents," coach Kennedy said.

"Jayme and his players have come out strong again this season. There is no doubt the players are bought into Coach Kennedy's style of play and they are showing it on the field," said Cory Halvorsen, Executive Director for Revolution United. "With just 3 games left in the regular season I am sure we will continue to see them at the top of the table going into playoff weekend."

The remaining games will continue to be a challenge heading into the back half and nowhere to let down against some very talented teams in the league.

"Three games left so that means 3 tough opponents left. We're taking it one game at a time with a goal to make playoffs," said Kennedy. "I want to see the kids keep being relentless and working hard. Keep playing together as a team and have that never give up attitude."

The Rev's are scheduled to play in Derry, who is currently the number 2 seed, after the Memorial Day Weekend break.

Epsom, NH - Revolution United Sports Group is pleased to announce our official partnership with Elite Sports Academy (ESA) in Epsom, New Hampshire.  ESA will serve as the official home of Revolution United Sports Group for indoor soccer programs, camps, Mini Revs, specialized strength and conditioning programs and much more.

Expected to open fall of 2021, Elite Sports Academy broke ground early last week on their 22,000+ square foot building which will host turf field space, batting cages, weight room and a golf simulator. Revolution United has been tapped to take on league play for all soccer programs including programs for recreational and competitive for youth and adult leagues.

"We are excited to be moving forward with this project as James and everyone at ESA have been great to work with in the planning stages," said Cory Halvorsen, Executive Director for Revolution United. "This is something that has required a lot of careful planning and consideration, and know it is the right step in continuing to move Revolution United in the direction to offer programs for all players no matter their skill level."

Revolution United has been known in the area as primarily a soccer club that was established in 2011, and has since grown into multiple sports all with the same mission. Providing an opportunity for players to play a sport that they love no matter their skill level or financial situation. With many opportunities available, there are registrations that fit all of the needs of someone's current situation. The club has maintained this same policy throughout the past 10 years it has been established and to try and give as many opportunities to the community as possible.

With the expansion with Elite Sports Academy, Revolution United will continue to look at ways to increase participation in all of the sports that are offered and make Epsom just another location where the community can be served.

“We are very excited to announce this partnership with Revolution United and Elite Sports Academy (ESA). The Revs are best in class in the soccer world and having them call Elite Sports Academy their home solidifies ESA as providing the youth in the area with not only a top notch facility, but also quality programs to develop as athletes in various sports.” said James Christie, President Elite Sports Academy

Over the next weeks and months, work will be taking place not only on site but also behind the scenes. Program Director, Lucas Therrien will be taking on the role of league operations as well as the regular day to day for the Revolution organization. Leagues will be offered for indoor soccer for ages U8-Adult, boys and girls. Additional information will be coming out over time as far as session start dates, team registration information and much more.
