Coach Guptil says During practice Kylee listened and practiced her foul shots and worked very hard on her layups. When practice was over she asked if she could stay after and work on her layups and foul shots. On Saturdays double header she hustled up and down the court and out rebounded all of her team mates and close to out rebounding Altons's team. In the second game she did not slow down she hustled up and down the court even after she smashed her knee and then later in the game she hurt shoulder. When she was on the court she did not argue with her team mates and showed good sportsman ship. She even told both teams they played a good game. Congratulations Kylee! Revolution United is pleased to announce the new Club Administrator, Tina Sheets. Tina will fill the role formally held by Nicole Richard for the organization.
Tina comes to us with many years of experience in sports as a player and coach herself, as well as a mom to 2 daughters who are also part of the Revolution United extended family. In this role, Tina will be the first contact for parent questions, social media, event assistance and much more. Look for her at our next events and introduce yourself. She will happily assist you with any of your needs! A little more from Tina ... I have been involved with soccer my whole life. I played all throughout elementary school and even played on the boys team my 8th grade year for Barnstead. I played on the JV and Varsity teams for Kingswood and even got scouted to play for UMASS my Senior year in Kingswood. I have coached and assisted coached many teams for soccer and basketball since my daughter Autumn was a toddler and now I get to do it all over again with my daughter Lalia starting with Mini Revs. Right from the beginning of the establishment of Revolution United, Autumn was asked to play goalie by coach Rob Tierney for the first outdoor girls team for Revolution United for the fall. We have never missed a season or opportunity yet. It went from playing in the Fall for Revolution United, to indoor at Fieldhouse, then outdoor for Spring Revolution United. We have been dedicated to Revolution United since the beginning. A passion for being apart of a family, not just a club to me. Coming together when the time is needed and sticking together when an opportunity calls for it. "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." Revolution United has done that. One of my favorite quotes, "It's not the team with the best players that win. It's the players with the best team that wins." And being a Revolution United member for all these years, I have watched some amazing teams play together. Getting closer to the community and surrounding communities has given me such pleasure and honor to be apart of where I grew up and have such a wonderful club to be apart of and have my family apart of, I wouldn't want to be apart of any other club that is all about the players and the love of soccer. We are thrilled to have Tina as a part of our administration! |
