Over the past week, we have heard a lot about the Coronavirus and how it has had an affect all across the world and in sporting events across the country. Revolution United Sports Group continues to stay up to date on this information from our partners at US Soccer, US Youth Soccer, and New Hampshire Soccer Association. Currently, we have a small number of teams participating in session 2 of indoor soccer at Fieldhouse Sports. As of this post, there has not been a change in their schedule and the facility would be who makes the call on any cancellations. Futsal, through Northeast Premier Futsal League has been suspended until further notice.
Planning for the next few weeks, we will continue to monitor, however our Spring soccer season is currently on schedule as regularly planned with the New Hampshire Soccer League. If there are any changes, they will be communicated out at a later time. Revolution United Sports Group is implementing a temporary hold on any training sessions or off season competition (not including indoor soccer) until April 1, 2020. Spring teams should not be getting together in a training or scrimmage format until that date. Below is information received today, from New Hampshire Soccer Association Based on the current information and facts, it is recommended that everyone be familiar with the best practices and protocols set forth by the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Several events across the country have been canceled or postponed, however we feel at this time, all soccer in the granite state can go on as scheduled. With that said, please be respectful of individual or organizational decisions. Please be mindful of the facilities and venues we play in, especially schools and decisions they need to make regarding usage. If you are traveling out of state, please be aware of the situation at your destination and follow traveling recommendations ( CDC link below) US Soccer has put forth the following information: Best Practices for Health There is currently no vaccine to prevent the Coronavirus.
