In our Week 2 Recap, Revolution United and Revolution Knights saw a full action packed week of games. Coming off of a light opening weekend for the leagues, mostly due to weather delays and cancellations, all of our teams saw some great competition this weekend.

Kicking off on Friday evening, Revolution United U14 Boys coached by Ryan Stockman faced a strong Lakes Region United team. This is always a great battle between clubs and this game was no different. Stockman's boys finished with a 7-3 win in just the beginning of a long stretch of games for these players.

Also on Friday, and just up the road playing at The Nick in their first game of the season, U15 Girls coached by Kara Kennedy faced an always challenging Seacoast United squad. The girls fought hard in this back and forth match but just came up short with a 2-1 loss.

On Saturday, U19 Boys Saalfrank team were on the road early kicking off a 9am game versus a strong Kearsarge team leaving there with a 1-0 loss but an important rematch coming up this Saturday at 8am at Gillette Stadium. This will be a rematch you do not want to miss.

Back up in Alton, our U11 Coed team coached by Megan Stanley took to the field against Hooksett but were challenged in their first game out on the field and recording their first loss of the season. This game was followed up by our U12 Boys team coached by Jayme Kennedy for their very first match of the season playing against Dover and coming home with a very strong 11-0 win.

In a tough battle up on the turf, U15 boys Fries team played Cheshire as they made the drive up for a great match against a talented Revs squad. More back and forth action and some great plays these teams walked away with a draw 1-1 in the match.

Later in the day, U14 boys Stockman team was back in action down in Windham after their very tough game on Friday evening. Stockman's team left feeling great about their 12-3 win over an always competitive Windham squad in NHSL Division 1 action.

The U15 girls were back in action up at Kingswood Regional High School on the turf but suffered a loss to Dover in the match. The U19 Boys Knights team opened up their inaugural season against an always strong Oyster River squad. While the boys played a majority of the game short handed, they recorded a loss on the match but look to come back stronger next weekend. Following this match, the U14 Boys Knights team came in playing Seacoast United and for the Knights first game of the season, they were happy to record their first shutout of the season with a 6-0 win over Seacoast.

Finally on Saturday, our very first night game of the season was played by our U19 Girls team coached by Shane Flood. This 80 minute match saw lots of opportunities from both squads, and back and forth action. Some great offensive and defensive plays, and some fantastic saves kept the Revs in the game eventually tying ORYA 1-1.

On Sunday, U14 Boys Knights were back in action on the road challenging Dover and recording their second shutout of the weekend with an 11-0 win.

U19 Girls coached by Cory Halvorsen also opened up their season and it was a rematch of last years final as they faced Dover. In an always tough and physical match up the girls were able to put 3 in the back of the net and walked away with their first win of the season 3-2 over Dover.
