Week 3 Recap | Spring Soccer

In our Week 3 recap, Revolution United and Revolution United Knights had a lighter week while many teams attended the NE Revolution event on Saturday.

On Friday evening, our U12 Boys team took on a skilled team from ROSO on our home field at Prospect Mtn. High School. This match ended in a 3-2 win for Coach Kennedy and his players keeping their winning streak alive.

Coach Flood's U19 girls traveled to Rochester for a late Friday evening game working hard but were downed 4-3 at the end of 90 minutes.

U15 Girls team was on the road in Epping as they took on a strong Hampton Attack girls squad. While missing a few players they game up short to Hampton and hope to redeem themselves in their next games.

On Saturday, 5 of our Revolution United teams traveled to Foxboro, MA for the New England Revolution event which is made up of friendly games and jamboree style play throughout the day. Our U19 boys however, had the opportunity to take on Kearsarge United in an official league game on the Gillette Stadium field. 90 minutes of full back and forth action, and being short a few players, Coach Saalfrank's team came up short losing 3-1.

Our U19 Boys Knights team was also in action at home as they faced an always strong Dover squad. Knights took a 2-0 loss on the day.

On Sunday, U19 Girls Coach Flood's team traveled to Dover who previously saw our other U19 Girls team the week prior. Coach Flood's girls had a strong 4-1 lead but Dover didn't back down and was able to come back ultimately tying the game at 4-4 for the final.

Coach Halvorsen's U19 girls were also on the road at Rochester starting off with a very good first half being up 5-0. Finishing off the second half strong, the final score was an 8-1 win for the Revs girls.

U19 Boys went on the road to play in Bedford vs GPS with Coach Saalfrank's team coming away with the 8-1 win.

U15 Boys traveled to Cheshire Soccer Club in Keene for an always good battle and were victorious 2-0 before heading back home.

Lastly, U12 boys finished up their weekend with a late Sunday evening game on Mother's Day playing against Hampton Attack. The U12's were able to leave with a 6-3 win over Hampton keeping their perfect winning record.
