Alton, NH - This past Saturday, Revolution United officially kicked off the 2023 Spring soccer season with the NH Soccer League. Only one team took the field for an official match which was the 2010 Boys team.
Coming off of just two practices before the season and just getting on the field, the 2010's came out strong against opponent Auburn SC in Auburn. It took a little bit for the team to get going but almost 30 minutes in, the season was opened up with a goal from Jake Wilson (#14) (Watch the Goal). Just 5 minutes later, a great goal from down the right side by Declan White (#15) (Watch the Goal) making it 2-0 just before half.
In the second half with almost 5 minutes left in the match, the third goal came from Orion Neathery (#9) (Watch the Goal) to secure that 3-0 with Charlie Yeaton (#13) securing his first clean sheet of the season.
This match was the first to be recorded as a part of our newest announced partnership with Veo. Through the Veo system, team members have access to view the game and check out all highlights that are saved as well. This program will continue to roll out and become available throughout the season where service allows.
Earlier in the week, the 2007 Boys and Coach Kennedy took to the road to play a preseason friendly against Maximum Velocity. Getting ready to defend their championship once again, the 07's looked great against a strong Maximum Velocity team securing a 3-2 win and some great confidence before the season officially gets underway for them.
