The Rec Basketball Player of the Week for Week 6 goes to MAXIMUS O'CONNELL of Alton 8U Gilligan.

Coach Gilligan says-
“Every week Max demonstrates his growing abilities and confidence more and more. This week was a breakthrough week for him.  He pushed himself to make drives into the hoop without hesitation, while evaluating his surroundings.  Choosing to drive in for the layup or making an advanced level pass to his teammates when the drive was not the best option.   He performed with energy and teamwork to help the team finish strong.  Excellent season and game, Max!"
